Akiryuu Set up 1

A character I designed for last years D&AD student comp, the brief was soooooo broad. Design a character and animate it. Super broad lol

So i came up with idea of some sort of dragony creature that couldn't make any noise at all but could make words along its back. Tried to keep him simple so that I could animate it within my own crummy ability too, but the words were easier than they looked lol.

Wanted him to try to interact with his world so rather than just putting him in a normal animation I projected him onto walls (if you've seen that one with the tiger walking through a city, that's what inspired me). Plus it makes him look so bright, like some sort of light creature
